NBA: Nets Done With Jason Kidd After He Asks For More Power & Allow Him to Meet With Bucks

Just one year after the Brooklyn Nets and Jason Kidd shocked the world going straight from playing to a head coach position, we now have another shocker.  Kidd approached ownership and attempted to get more power.  The failed attempt could mean the end of him with the franchise.

It takes alot to impress Jason Kidd Jr, just ask him. He was asked outside a nightclub what he thought of his dads first year as coach of the Nets. The Younger Kidd replied with an answer as if he was disappointed. You have to excuse him though as he seemed a little more interested in the pretty women he was with and you can’t fault him for that. For the record I think Coach Kidd did a great job, especially considering how the season started out for Brooklyn. Hit the jump.

NBA: Jason Kidd Could Be Out as Head Coach By All-Star Game

The hopes were high for the Brooklyn Nets when they added Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Jason Terry and Andrei Kirilenko to their squad that included Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez.  Things however haven’t gone as planned with Lopez fracturing his foot and being ruled out for the rest of the season, Deron has battled ankle injuries, Pierce a hand fracture, Kirilenko doesn’t have a timetable to return from his injuries and the rest of the team hasn’t been playing well either.  That’s quite a lot to deal with for a first year head coach and it might just be a wrap for Jason Kidd.
