For the second year in a row, Jay-Z and Budweiser’s “Made In America” festival will go down in Philly over the Labor Day Weekend (August 31st to September 1st.) No acts have been announced just yet, but Spotify will reveal all on April 10th. I’ve been given the heads up on one of the acts, though, and I know people are going to enjoy his show! And they’ll likely be rolling up while doing so, LOL! Can’t wait to see what goes down this year.
Beyonce & Jay-Z’s Trip To Cuba WAS Approved By U.S. Government
Beyonce and Jay-Z traveled to Cuba over the weekend to celebrate their 5th wedding anniversary, but caught heat afterwards since the country isn’t on the best of terms with the U.S. Cuba is technically off-limits to American tourists by law, but apparently all is well…because the power couple had their trip approved beforehand! The thing is, Americans CAN go to Cuba if they get the proper license to do so…and since Bey and Jay’s visit was a “cultural” one (no meeting with officials or dong tourist things like beach trips)…they were good to go. C’mon, you know these two wouldn’t be caught slipping like, ever!
Jay-Z’s Signing Deals All Over The Place – Who Has He Signed With NOW ?!?!
It’s no secret that Jay-Z is in the middle of some BIG time deals right now. Publishing rights may go to Warner/Chappelle Music, but this time Jigga has signed Roc Nation to Universal Music Group. Universal will handle all business aspects. The deal will allow Roc Nation to be a “standalone label.” The company will have rights to Jay’s up-coming album as well as other Roc Nation artists, such as Rihanna, and J. Cole, but still allow the label to be an independent one. Technically it’s not independent then – correct? Drop down bottom and see what the Cuba visting man had to say about the signing.

As usual, instead of fixing important things like jobs, war and deficit are instead focusing on harassing celebrities. Is it illegal for Americans to travel to Cuba without a government visa for an educational exchange between the two countries. As it was widely publicized as an anniversary trip in the media, the trip raised some eyebrows of activists and the government.

But they’re getting flack about going to the country that is technically off-limits to American tourists by law, and a Cuban activist is calling their trip “insensitive” as they didn’t address abuse against women and suppression of freedom by the Cuban government.
