IFWT Celebrates Black History Month: Honoring Madam C.J. Walker

To celebrate Black History Month, InFlexWeTrust will be honoring influential members of Black history daily throughout the month. Today, we are honoring Madam C.J. Walker. Walker was born Sarah Breedlove and would go on to become the first female self-made millionaire. Madam C.J. Walker is a huge part of not only Black History, but Women’s History as well. During her lifetime, she not only became a successful businesswoman but was also a philanthropist. Walker made a name for herself creating and manufacturing beauty products that catered to African America women. Read more about her life and accomplishments below.
