New Yahoo CEO Ends Telecommuting For Employers, Causes Outrage

Marissa Mayer the New CEO of Yahoo feels that it’s important for Yahoo employees to report to their offices instead of telecommuting all the time. While Telecommuting has many perks Mayer believes that Yahoo can only achieve it’s full potential by being present and making real life connections. The kinds of connections that happen in the hallways of a business or the ideas that are drawn up while at lunch with a coworker are things that would seldom occur in a society where telecommuting is the norm, it automatically sets you apart because you’re physically separated. So yesterday Yahoo revamped their email client, and after taking a look at the revamped product i’m defintely not impressed. After using Google’s Gmail for so many years i became accustomed to a certain look. And will instead innovating their client it looks like Yahoo just copied Gmail’s format and slapped some pink on it well now you have Yahoo mail.
