It’s almost time to start talking about the 2012-13 NBA season. But, before we do, there are a bunch of loose ends that still need to be tied up. A few more free agents have to sign deals with new NBA teams. A few rookies still have to sign on the dotted lines and agree to contracts. A couple teams need to decide exactly who they’ll be inviting to their training camps. And, of course, there are still some players mulling over endorsement deals with sneaker companies. And to Bobcats owner Michael Jordan, Gilchrist’s ability to fill the box score is reminiscent of his former parter-in-crime, Scottie Pippen.
