NBA: Kevin Durant Doesn’t Like Latest Proposal & May Sign Overseas

NBA: Union Attorney Jeffrey Kessler Apologizes For Saying Players are Treated Like “Plantation Workers”

NBA: Players Ready to Attack Michael Jordan But He Remained Quiet During Entire Meeting

NBA: U.S Mayors Write Letter to NBA & NBPA To End Lockout

The NBA lockout is not just about owners and players losing money. It’s also about NBA cities, arenas, countless ancillary companies and the people who work and live in each city getting hit hard during an already tough economic period.  That was the sentiment expressed by the U.S. Conference of Mayors, which issued an open letter to the NBA and the NBA Players Assn. asking them to “consider the consequences to cities if a lockout continues.”  Read more after the jump. @Shay_Marie x @gametimegirl
