NBA: Monta Ellis Signs 3 Year Deal With Mavericks, Could Be for $30 Million!

Earlier this week, Monta Ellis narrowed his list of teams he might play with down to 4. Now it is only one. The Dallas Mavericks signed Ellis today to a 3 year contract that will be worth between $25-$30 million. He was definitely one of the best guards available through free agency. Many teams would of loved to get him, but he wanted some major money. The Mavs hope he will be able to help Dirk out with some scoring, but he has never been known for his defense and he takes alot of bad shots. Still, on any night he is capable of dropping 25-30 points. The Mavs needed someone after striking out on getting Dwight Howard.

NBA: Brooklyn Nets Add Another Former All-Star

The Nets announced late last night they agreed to a 2 year contract with former All-Star Andrei Kirilenko. He was a all-star and a very good player when he was with the Utah Jazz years ago. He is a little older now but averaged about 13 points per game last season for the Timberwolves. Read more after the jump.

This guy is crazy. Most fans know he’s a lil off his rocker to begin with, but what he wants in his new UFC contract is bananas.  I can just see Dana White’s face now. Lol.  SMH.  Check it out…

NBA:(Photo) WOW! Warriors Sign Andre Iguodala, Does That Mean No Dwight Howard?

The Warriors are going to be a very serious team next season, with or without Dwight Howard. They just signed free agent Andre Iguodala to a 4 year/$48 million dollar contract. Iguodala is a very good player and a deep Warriors team just got deeper. They already have Steph Curry, Harrison Barnes, Klay Thompson and Andrew Bogut. Added Iguodala they now have another certified all-star calibur player. Hit the jump to see more.

NFL: Money In The Bank…Packers Sign Aaron Rodgers To New Contract

We all knew it was coming, we just didn’t know when. Once Ravens QB Joe Flacco got a mega deal after winning the Super Bowl, everyone knew Aaron Rodgers extension would most likely be a record breaking contract. The new deal will keep the 2011 MVP in Green Bay until at least 2019. Read more about it after the jump.

NFL: Cashing Out! Tony Romo & The Dallas Cowboys Agree On New Contract

It might not be the record breaking deal Joe Flacco got last week, but Tony Romo will not be complaining about money anytime soon. Dallas didn’t want Romo to head into the final year of his current contract with no extension, which would then allow him to become an unrestricted free agent after next season. So Jerry Jones opened his pockets and gave him a 6 year extension worth $108 million dollars. The deal will make him the highest paid player in Cowboys history. Now for a quaterback who has never really led his team anywhere, and definitely has not gotten it done in the playoffs I am a little confused as to why they continue to stick with Romo, but I can’t hate on their loyalty to him. He is definitely a good quarterback, he just doesn’t have much to show for his career till this point. I would like to hear from Cowboys fans and see what they feel about the new deal. This new contract pretty much ensures he will retire as a member of the Dallas Cowboys since he is already 33 years old. The question still remains though, will he finally be able to take the team to the promised land, or at least get some playoff wins.
