Earlier this week, we got a behind-the-scenes look at Troy Ave’s “New York City” – today, we get a look at the talented Karen Civil as she expresses what New York hip-hop, Troy Ave, and New York City The Album means to her and NYC. “Troy Ave gives hope to New York artists…he embodies that, that hustler spirit that we use to see in Jay Z and Cam’ron coming up,” says Karen. “It’s refreshing.” The sit-down is part two of a four part, New York City The Album vignettes.
