Kelly has written and recorded a new track paying tribute to the survivors of the Sandy Hook school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut.”I Know You Are Hurting” is an uplifting track that features choirs of children and adults, though Kelly cedes the spotlight to the kids. I think it’s amazing to see athletes/celebs reach out to the victims of the Newton, CT tragedy. Derek Jeter is the latest to reach out and it was to the mother of Victoria Soto, one of the teachers killed while protecting her first-grade students. GameTimeGirl
Did Morgan Freeman Say, “Ryan Lanza Did It Because Of The Media” ???
Actually, no. On this thing we call the World Wide Web people love to pretend to be someone that they are not just to make things up. It was no different after the Newton, CT tragedy. Someone took to the Internet and used the likeness of Morgan Freeman to express their views on the Sandy Hook school shooting stating, “You want to know why. This may sound cynical, but here’s why. It’s because of the way the media reports it. Flip on the news and watch how we treat the Batman theater shooter and the Oregon mall shooter like celebrities.” In other words Ryan Lanza committed the crime to become a celebrity. PR people for Freeman tells E! News, “Morgan neither made statements or posted those statements. We are trying to find out who did, but they did not originate from him.” So Mr. Freeman has not publicly mentioned anything on the shooting. My P.O.V. Stop blaming the media people! Well before television and radio, and papers, people were committing crimes and killing folks. It’s no excuse. You do things based off of experience, what you know, and your surroundings. PERIOD. Newton Shooting Medical Examiner, Dr. H. Wayne Carver Speaks!
Medical examiner, Dr. H. Wayne Carver, finally speaks. According to the doctor, each victim was shot more than once and all over their bodies. He said the “long gun” meaning the Bushmaster .223-caliber assault rifle was the weapon used in the shootings! If you previously recall reports said they found that weapon in the shooters car. Out of the seven bodies he examined two were shot at close range and they were all first graders. The doctor said this has been the worst shooting he has ever seen. More updates to come Eloisa Melo
