Congrats! Drake’s OVO Label Makes Major Moves!

“OVO, that’s major sh*t,” Drake rapped on French Montana’s summer anthem, “Pop That”…and it looks like he wasn’t playing! The Canadian import’s record label, October’s Very Own (aka OVO), has officially inked a deal with a major label: Warner Bros. Records! This is also where Rick Ross houses his MMG imprint, despite the fact Ross himself is signed to Def Jam. The same can be said for Drake, who’s signed to Universal under the YMCMB umbrella. More details will be released tomorrow about the new deal. Congrats! Marisa Mendez

Drake Explains Why He Hates Tumblr and Twitter

In the upcoming “Power 30” issue of The Source (of which In Flex We Trust ranked number 19 on their Digital Power 30), Drake graces the cover and gives quite a candid interview. In an excerpt released online today, the Young Money star reveals the reason behind his lack of a presence on social networking phenomenons Twitter and Tumblr. Although he speaks for himself because I’m absolutely obsessed with Twitter (Tumblr not so much), he makes PERFECT sense with his reasoning. Read what he had to say below. The Power 30 issue hits newsstands the same day Drake’s new album drops, November 15th. Marisa Mendez
