Jerseyyyyyyyyy! Yesterday, Paterson native Fetty Wap put on a free back-to-school concert for his hometown. Following the concert, Fetty was given the key to the city by Paterson Mayor, Jose Torres. Hit the jump for more.

Fetty Wap Reveals Album Release Date & Artwork!

After putting on for Jersey, making history and breaking countless records on the music carts, Fetty Wap is ready to deliver his first studio album to the fans! The 1738 rapper took to his Twitter/Instagram to announce that his self-titled debut album Fetty Wap is due out on September 25th – just a few weeks away! The “Trap Queen” artist also revealed the artwork, which is a picture simply of him showing off the side of his face with the missing eye (that everyone seems to be so infatuated with). The Paterson native kept it nice and simple, which I think is a smart move for his first album. Take a look at the artwork for the long-anticipated album in the gallery. Will you be copping Fetty Wap when it hits iTunes and a store near you?

Jersey Beef: Tax G Releases 1738 Diss To Fetty Wap & His Crew; Fetty Responds

It looks like Meek Mill and Drake aren’t the only ones beefing in the Hip-Hop world this week. Jersey artist Tax G has been beefing hardbody with Fetty Wap and his 1738 crew after Tax made allegations that the “Trap Queen” artist stole his entire style. This has been brewing for quite some time but after Tax recently did a few interviews publicly announcing that Fetty jacked his swag, things began to heat up.

After blowing up so quickly and gaining such crazy fame at a remarkable speed, it is safe to say that New Jersey’s own Fetty Wap is LITTTTTTTTTTTT out here in these streets. Not only does he have the rap world on lock, but it seems like the Zoo Gang leader got all these chicks feigning to be a “Trap Queen.”

At only 23-years-old, Jersey’s own Fetty Wap came into the rap game and DOMINATED it with hit by hit. After getting a record deal and having his hit song “Trap Queen” hit #1 on the charts, we could imagine the nice big checks he’s been receiving. Unlike most younger rappers who get on and get money, Fetty is being smart with his finances and made one of the best investments ever– a brand new house for his mother! The Paterson native posted up a video onto his Instagram page going into his new home that he recently purchased with a caption that reads, “23 years old and I bought my first house I no my mother gonna love it … cause it’s her’s.” “Yo – 23-years-old, man. I just bought my first house, man,” Fetty says in the video as he pulls out the key to the front door. “Yeah, straight up though, man! One of the biggest accomplishments of my life! I’m opening the door to my sh*t! You see this big ass motherf*ckin’ house, bruh?” Sending a big congrats to Fetty and his family on the move. That is HUGE!
