NBA: Report, Ray Allen May Join Paul Pierce With Washington Wizards

Ray Allen has not retired, although he hasn’t shown a strong interest in seeking out a spot on a team either. It’s not that multiple team don’t want him, they do! He is the one playing a bit of a cat and mouse game. The strongest and most sensible move we keep hearing may happen is Ray linking back up with Lebron in Cleveland. Now a new story claims he may link back up with an old teammate, but Paul Pierce instead.

Ray Allen is one of the most sought after guards this season, with veteran leadership and a lethal three point shot, he would serve as a strong asset to any team. Many reports are indicating that Allen is thinking about retiring. Hit the jump for details.

The longer Ray Allen takes to make a decision, the more teams throw their names into the hat.  The Cleveland Cavaliers were the leaders to land the sharpshooter but now he has several options.  The Golden State Warriors made the most buzz when they announced they contacted Allen and now there’s another two well-playing Western Conference teams that are interested, the Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Clippers

It’s been expected that Ray Allen will follow some of his former Miami Heat teammates and sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers, joining the trio of LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving.  Allen hasn’t made his decision yet but another very interesting team has joined in on the quest to land the sharpshooter.  Apparently the Golden State Warriors reach out to Ray Allen to see his interest.

Nick Young made his season debut on Tuesday night and brought all of his swag with him, scoring 17 points and making 2-of-4 3-pointers.  He was feeling pretty good and confident in himself, maybe a little too confident but hey his nickname is Swaggy P for a reason.  Not only did he say the Lakers won because his swag rubbed off on everybody, he also said he’s the best three-point shooter of all time.  Check out the rest of his list.


NBA: 6 Teams Contacted Ray Allen Including Wizards, Spurs & Thunder

There was a previous report that Ray Allen had agreed to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers but it turns out it was another premature report.  Allen has still not decided whether he wants to retire or try to make a run at another championship ring.  Well if Allen does decide to return he definitely isn’t short on suitors.
