(Video) NBA: Derrick Williams One-Handed Dunk Over Blake Griffin Waved Off So He Does It Again

Earlier this week Derrick Williams was traded from the Timberwolves to the Kings for Luc Mbah a Moute.  It was a quiet trade that wasn’t given much publicity but Williams made his debut for the Kings on Friday night and made his presence known.  He hit several dunks but this one-handed alley-oop slam over Blake Griffin was the highlight of the night.  The refs however waved it off ruling that Jared Dudley had fouled Williams before he got free to track down the alley-oop.  The ball was handed back to the Kings and what did Williams do?  He decided to run it back.  This time Williams finished with a two-handed dunk off an alley from DeMarcus Cousins. (Video) NBA: Sacramento Kings Set World Record For Crowd Noise

Well I guess Seattle fans have to drop their claims of Sacramento not having a passionate fan base.  The battle is over and the Kings remained in Sacramento, and though they aren’t playing well, the fans showed support in a tremendous way.

NBA: Kings Sign Demarcus Cousins To 4 Year Extension Worth $62 Million!!

According to reports, the Sacramento Kings have decided to invest in the future of their best young player. DeMarcus Cousins, the sometimes troubled, but extremely talented young big man, was given a 4 year contract extension worth just over $60 million dollars. With the trade during the off season that sent Tyreke Evans to the Pelicans, it became clear who the Kings wanted to build around. He has always flashed a brilliant and athletic type of game, especially for a big man, but his run-ins with coaches and teammates at times have taken away from his talent on the court. Lately however, Cousins seems to be maturing. His coach mentioned how Cousins works out on his own time and organizes things for his teammates so they can all get together. With the addition of Shaq as a minority owner in the team, everyone is expecting him to mentor the young star so he can leave the nonsense alone and develop into the all-star that he can be.

(Video) NBA: Kings Ad Running In Times Square Cost How Much?!

I’m not sure why people are sooooo shocked by this number.  I’m hoping it’s because they think it’s cheap?! I actually thought it would be way more.  NY doesn’t play…esp. in Times Square! On the Heels of BOG Meeting, Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau and Sports Commission are running a 30-second Pro-Sacramento video in Times Square. Details and cost after the jump…

NBA:(Video,Photos) WOW! New Seattle SuperSonics Arena Could Look Crazy

If the city of Seattle gets their way and the NBA comes back there, they could very well have the best new arena in the league. The Sacramento Kings are supposedly moving to Seattle. The city of Sacramento is still trying to fight it, but it pretty much seems to be a done deal. Seattle was always a good basketball city and will support an NBA team well. If the Sonics never left for Oklahoma City, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook would be kings of that city just like they are in OKC. The new arena that would play host to the new Seattle team is a sign of how serious they take basketball. Check out the video of how the arena will look and some pictures in the gallery.
