Starbucks is rolling out wireless charging to ten stores in Silicon Valley after initially testing the technology in Boston. Wireless charging will enable you to give your phone a jolt while you do the same. Starbucks is hoping to give a boost to the wireless charging industry.


Starbucks Is Getting Sued By WHO?!

With a lawsuit filed in Manhattan recently, 12 representatives of New York’s Deaf population are making it clear that discrimination is not acceptable. The actions of one Starbucks employee has now caused hefty problems for the company as a whole. The lawsuit is seeking unspecified damages for constant abuse and discrimination. Bad News For Starbuck Fans, Prices To Go Up Next Week

As if Starbucks drinks weren’t expensive enough already, the chain has announced that starting next week the prices will get an increase on some products. About one-third of the drinks will get about a 10 cent increase. Coffee, lattes, expressos, and teas will be on the rise for a tall size. In most stores, the venti and grande brews will not face a price increase. This is the first price increase in about two years and although it’s only 10 cents, it will add up for Starbucks addicts but there is a way around the increase. Read more below.

If this isn’t just the nastiest thing I’ve read EVER !!! You coffee heads may want to check with your local Starbucks shop just to make sure that they aren’t brewing their coffee with toilet water…Yes you read right….Starbucks’ head honchos in Hong Kong may have some explaining to do. After photos of a “Starbucks Only” water spout in a bathroom emerged on the web, many customers questioned whether Starbucks is using “toilet water” to brew its coffee. The series of photos, reportedly taken at the chain’s Bank of China Tower location, appear to show a man retrieving water from a spout in a men’s bathroom a few feet away from a urinal and then using a container on a cart to transport it to the coffee shop…..JUST NASTY!!! $100 Million Invested For The Starbucks Of Weed?!?

The CEO of a company called Diego Pellicer in Seattle announced plans to invest $100 million in a national marijuana chain. Since more and more states are considering medical and recreational legalization of weed, this could definitely make some big $$$!!! He plans on taking over the pot industry the same way Starbucks started in Seattle and took over the nation, saying “We are Big Marijuana” and planning on THOUSANDS of stores. Maybe they’ll have have munchies on a Dollar Menu. We’ll see how the federal government reacts to it though, because dispensaries are getting busted on the regular.
