The cat is out of the bag. The R&B crooner Ne-Yo will be kicking off the new year with his sixth new studio album.“This album is 99.999998% R&B, meaning I can’t completely abandon that fanbase ’cause they kept the lights on for a very long time. I still got some stuff that can live in that [pop] world, but there’s so much R&B on this album.” The project is titled “Non-Fiction” and is set for release of January 22nd. Rihanna has been in NYC since last week, hitting various restaurants and [thankfully] the studio. As we reported earlier, rumor has it that Rih Rih has a new album coming NEXT month, so her trip to the studio last night was quite possibly to put some finishing touches on it! Spotted out by paparazzi, our favorite Bad Gal was rocking a pink fur coat that would make Cam’Ron envious, baggy jeans and Timbs, and hit up popular NYC eatery Nobu with her best friend and assistant, Jen Rosales, before her session. The, “Twerkin’ 4 Berkin‘” lady, Ester Dean has taken to her Instagram to let us know that she’s back in the studio with some of the greats. The singer/song-writer puts a smile on her face as she’s in the studio with Nicki Minaj and the bad gal, Rihanna. Dean is said to be working on Nicki’s The PinkPrint and RiRi’s album, which she’s yet to wholly detail. DJ Mustard, whose also working on upcoming material with Rihanna says that the untitled LP is, “Not like anything you’ve ever heard from me before.” Well, we can’t wait to hear what both of the music makers have up their sleeves.
