Over the past couple seasons, there have been a few occasions in which Dwayne Wade has been earning a reputation as a dirty player. As a fan I can see where people get it from, but I still would not call him a dirty player. Sometimes he thinks he is a tough guy, but still wouldn’t call him dirty. However even though Wade is denying it, the kick he gives Ramon Session of the Charlotte Bobcats was definitely on purpose. He was suspended one game for kicking where the sun don’t shine. It’s not like the Miami Heat will miss him. The game he will miss is against the Detroit Pistons. Not exactly a threat if you ask me. NFL: Seahawks CB Richard Sherman Addresses Pro Bowl Snub & Pending PED Suspension
The 2013 NFL Pro Bowl rosters were announced last night and the biggest snub of the year was no doubt Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks. Sherman is waiting for a decision on a four-game suspension issued by the NFL for taking performance-enhancing drugs, an episode that likely influenced Pro Bowl voters. He was however still eligible to participate in the Pro Bowl since a decision was not yet made in his case. He was asked how he felt about the snub. Read more after the jump. Shay Marie
NFL: James Harrison Aiming For Knees Now!
James Harrison is just tired and fed up with getting fined by the NFL for “illegal” hits to the head. So from now on, he is aiming for the knees! I don’t really know what is worse. Hits to both places can end a career, but I do get the point Harrison is trying to make. Nowadays in the NFL, the slightest hit to a players head will bring a fine, and maybe a suspension, so Harrison is just trying to make a point. I hope he really won’t be aiming for any players knees. NFL: Update! ESPN’s Rob Parker Suspended For RG3 Comments
This didn’t take long. Yesterday Gametime girl did a post about ESPN analyst Rob Parker bringing up the race of Redskins quaterback RG3 and questioning how “black” he is. Seems ESPN did not like that idea being brought up on air. Read more after the jump. IamJOE357
NCAA: Coach Suspended & Fined $50K!! For What?
Rutgers basketball coach Mike Rice was suspended for 3 games and fined $50K by the University Thursday. This is coming directly from the school and not the NCAA itself. The school said the fine and suspension were due to a violation by the coach of the athletic department policy.
