After the Taft, CA shooting, a 16 year-old was arrested and charged with critically wounding one victim (the second refused medical attention). Prosecutors weighed many options into making this decision, but they decided to charge him as an adult, because of the wounds (of the victim) and the fact that he used a hand gun. The Kern County prosecution is charging the unidentified teen with two counts of attempted murder and three counts of assault with a firearm. What is going through people’s minds? Another School Shooting Has Occurred…This Time In California
Not too many details have been released yet, but there has been another school shooting in Taft, California. Two people were shoot, one refused any medical treatment and the other was rushed to the hospital. Police received phone calls from people who locked themselves in closets a little after nine this morning. The shooter is said to be in custody and the scene is under control.
