A violin, that was played while the Titanic was sinking, was auctioned off on Saturday in London. Band leader Wallace Hartley played the violin on the luxury liner’s deck, as passengers panicked and filled life boats on the infamous night in April 1912. CRAZY! Famous Titanic Artifact Found Intact

It’s crazy how year have passed and yet we are still finding artifacts from the Titanic. In the movie about the ship’s fatal sinking, there was a man who continued to play the violin even though there was nothing but chaos around him. Wallace Hartley found it soothing to play his instrument until the very end to bring comfort to others. It was believed that Hartley’s violin was lost after the ship sank but it turns out that the violin was found in one piece. Read more below.
