Decked out in an orange visor and orange jacket sitting in the front row behind home plate was Laurence Leavy, a diehard Miami Marlins fan. Congratulations to the Boston Red Sox for winning the 2013 World Series. Leave it to sports to bring a city together that went through a tragedy, like the city of Boston did earlier this year with the marathon bombing. The Red Sox dominated the St. Louis Cardinals in the final 2 games of the series to win it in front of their home crowd. The final score of the series clinching game 6 was 6-1. The Cardinals had no chance from the start. Now it is time for Boston to pop those champagne bottles and enjoy their accomplishments. Congratulations once again.
