Yesterday, Team Hot Wheels drivers Tanner Foust and Greg Tracy suited up and executed the Double Loop Dare stunt at the X Games. The pair went through the 66-foot-tall loops, which replicate a similar Hot Wheels toy track set, hitting 52 miles per hour and pulling 7Gs in the process. Nifty. Funk Flex


Sports: Shaun White Won’t Compete at X Games LA

Sabrina B. Skate fans hoping for another back-and-forth X Games battle between halfpipe stalwart Pierre-Luc Gagnon and a rallying Shaun White will have to wait. The 25-year-old regular-footer will not be at X Games Los Angeles 2012 to defend his Skateboard Vert gold medal.

Big Boi to Headline Show at 2011 ESPN X Games

Big Boi will be headed for the hills (or mountains, rather) at the end of this month, where the rapper will headline a concert during ESPN’s 15th annual X Games…a part of the Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert. The games do down from January 27th through the 30th in Aspen, with the concert happening on the 29th. “We are honored to welcome Big Boi to Aspen/Snowmass during the biggest weekend of the winter season,” said John Rigney, the VP of Sales & Events at Aspen Skiing Company. “What an amazing way for our community to celebrate 10 years of hosting ESPN’s X Games.” Should be a cool show! @MarisaMendez
