Recent “Ultimate Fighter” winner Jonathan Brookins and Jeremy Stephens will meet at the TUF 13 finale in June, according to sources close to the event.

The bout was first reported as “likely” by MMAjunkie.com. Sources have confirmed to ESPN.com the bout will take place at the June 4 event in Las Vegas.

Brookins (12-3) won the latest season of the reality series, defeating fellow lightweight Michael Johnson by unanimous decision to earn a UFC contract in December.

The Orlando-based fighter is 4-0 in professional bouts since suffering a third-round TKO loss to current UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo in November 2008.

Stephens (19-6) is coming off January’s knockout win over Marcus Davis, which earned him Knockout of the Night honors. Stephens is 3-1 in his past four fights, the only blemish a split decision loss to Melvin Guillard in September.

Another high-profile lightweight fight between Anthony Pettis and Clay Guida is expected to headline the TUF 13 finale.

The 13th season of the reality series is scheduled to debut March 30 on Spike TV.
