Well it means a lot to the Tech Industry since Japan Produces So many Resources for the industry…See Details.
@TatWza

Canon, Panasonic, and Sony have each pledged Â¥300 million ($3.67 million) in donations. Sony is matching employee contributions as will Mitsubishi who’s donating a whopping Â¥500 million ($6.1 million) in aid. On the equipment side, Sony is donating some 30,000 radios to relief efforts while Panasonic is providing 10,000 radios, 10,000 flashlights, and 500,000 batteries. NEC, Kyocera, and Epson are each donating Â¥100 million in funds, computers, and telecoms and IT equipment.
And that is great, although the recovery is expected to be some where between 100 Million and 100 Billion, Ouch! So much of the World’s Tech gets produced in Japan, and although a good bit of Plants, Like Toshiba, which produces some key components for a few Tech companies including Apple’s iPad, And if your waiting to get yours when the demand dies down, well that demand death may not happen for some time, it might be worth that time on the line!
Besides Toshiba, Sony, Panasonic, Fujifilm, Nikon, and Canon have all shut down factories. So gadgets, film, and filmmaking parts all affected. Even if the factory is in good standing, the resources the factories need to actually build said products can’t get to the factory because the trains, roads, and Ports are all shutdown! You better get what out now, because what’s coming may not be coming!! *iPhone 5*
