Cheap Date Option No. 1: Cribs On a Budget!
Go to an upscale neighborhood near you and find an open house (meaning a real estate open house, not just somebody’s unlocked door obviously). Walk around and dream about actually living there or act like you already do and give each other the grand tour
Cheap Date Option No. 2:Â Wine Tasting!
Find a winery or brewery in your area. (You’d be surprised how many towns have these now.) Most places offer tours and will let you sample their wares for little or no cost. Pretend to be experts and impress each other with words like “bouquet” (a way to describe the smell of wine) and “carbonic maceration” (the method in which most red wines are made). Haha! I’d kill myself in laughter while doing this one!
Cheap Date Option No. 3: Get Classy With It!
Sign up for a free class. Stores like Williams and Sonoma offer cooking tutorials that you can see for free and hardware stores like Home Depot often offer classes on home repair and improvement. Not only are they free, but you’ll learn skills that can save you money down the line too!
Cheap Date Option No. 4: Bike the Day Away!
Get bikes and explore your town or a nearby city! Bring a cheap picnic: baguette, red wine and chocolate. Or some fried chicken and salad we won’t be picky LOL. You’ll feel like you’re touring the French countryside or if you choose the latter, it’ll feel like a private catering from Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles!
Cheap Date Option No. 5: Don’t Splurge on Dinner! Splurge on Dessert!
Make an inexpensive dinner at home (i.e. spaghetti LOL) and go out for a gourmet dessert and coffee date afterwards. Personally, I’m satisfied with a chocolate brownie obcession from Friday’s but your lady might wanna take things up a notch.
Cheap Date Option No. 6: Go Four Star on a Budget!
Rendezvous in a decked out hotel—Just don’t get too fancy with it. Remember your pockets ARE NOT on swole. But it doesn’t hurt to dress up so you look the part and spend the evening exploring the grounds, ordering drinks at the bar and enjoying the free bar food =)
Cheap Date Option No. 7: Do Something to Help Mankind!
Choose a fun volunteer effort that you both are into! This could be some much fun and could help you guys connect. Not to mention-FREE!
Cheap Date Option No. 8: Travel to a Galaxy Far, Far Away!
Choose a clear and starry summer night. Grab  an astronomy book, lay out a blanket on a warm night and see how many constellations you can find. How romantical (that was on purpose).
Cheap Date Option No. 9: Head for the (Tide) Pool
Or if you live near a body of water, take advantage of the real thing! Head to the local beach and just relax. Watch the tides and look for little fishies. Build a sand castle or even better, have a sand castle building competition!!
