Scott Forstall just gave all the details what people can expect this fall from Apple and its iOS 5. Details inside

@YJB @TatWZA

The first thing Scott Forstall discussed was  that  Apple has sold 200 million iOS devices, with more than 25 million of those being iPads and 14 billion downloads from the App Store, totaling  over $2.5 billion paid out in revenue to app developers.  Second he discussed the new iOS 5 which has been redone totally with a notification center put in place i.e…Android like notification system.  So users would pull or swipe down to see their latest messages, emails or text messages.  There will x buttons on the side to clear any unwanted messages the user may want delete.  You will be also be able to access the notification section while the phone is locked by swiping along the screen and this take you right into the notifications, which seems like a good idea since most people want to see their notifications on the fly.

Also new to iOS 5 will be the twitter integration, newsstand which will store all your purchased magazines and newspaper, and allowing users to tweet pics directly from their  photo gallery.  A new Browser is added  called Safari Reader which will only display the text on a website.  There is a new cool reminder feature which will remind you to do certain things based on your location, i know this feature will be key for some users.  And finally the highlight of the iPhone itself is the phone will have its own dedicated camera button which will be located on the screen….
