Shia LaBeouf has confirmed that he has no plans to return to the Transformers franchise.

LaBeouf is currently promoting his third and final appearance as Sam Witwicky in Michael Bay’s supposed last entry in the popular franchise, Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

“For sure,” LaBeouf told MTV News, when asked if this was really his last Transformers film.

“I’m not coming back to do another one,” he explained. “I don’t think Mike [Bay] will either.”

Despite his decision to leave the franchise, LaBeouf said that the success of the film series means Paramount Pictures are likely to continue it in some form.

“It is still a hot property I think, especially coming out of the third one,” the actor continued. “So I imagine they’ll reboot it at some point with someone else.”

LaBeouf confirmed earlier today that a fifth film in George Lucas’s Indiana Jones series is definitely in the works.
