Today Nate Robinson had a twitter discussion with Pete Carroll, head coach of the Seattle Seahawks.  The conversation was about Nate possibly working out and trying out for the team.  It could just be twitter banter but Robinson is no stranger to the gridiron. He played high school football at Rainier Beach High (as well as basketball and track), winning AAA player of the year honors, and was considered SuperPrep’s 17th best athlete that year. Although he was a star for the Washington Huskies basketball team in helping them to a Sweet 16 appearance his junior year, his most famous play was an interception in the 4th quarter of the Apple Cup against the 3rd-ranked Cougars.

This is just good fun, right? ….Right? (The Seahawks do have cornerback deficiencies…) It’d be one heck of a story if it went any further though.
