Since his win at the Florida straw poll, everyone is taking a second look at Herman Cain and the policies he’s proposing, particularly his ‘999’ tax plan. Hit the jump to read the rest of the story.
@WiL
The plan proposes to reform the tax code and impose the following:
9 Percent Flat Rate Income Tax
9 Percent Business Value Added Tax
9 Percent National Sales Tax
Moore said that while a lot of business people think the plan would be great for American business and competitiveness, he thinks the American people may be thrown by the institution of the 9 percent sales tax.
While he believes that the plan would have a greater impact on lower income Americans, he believes that Cain would argue that the plan would get jobs back and raise incomes, so all income groups would be better off because of the added jobs.
This fool is dangerous….. Hope people don’t fall for this dude, he worst then Perry or the rest, well maybe not Palin…
I think this is a totally great idea and completely fair. I’m a Christian and in the Bible God says to tithe 10% to him…he didn’t say for poor people to give only 10% and for rich people to give 25%, and if you are a Christian you believe that God is just and fair. He doesn’t say, well if you are a rich trust fund baby then you pay 25%, but if your fortune is self made, then you pay only 20%…
