A New York City Parks Department worker was arrested in Manhattan Friday for alleged sexual involvement with a minor.

The NYPD arrested 35-year-old Kaceen Jordan outside Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem after a witness reported seeing Jordan exposing himself to a 15-year-old male inside a parked car. He was not on duty.

Area residents are concerned for the children who play at the park.

“There are times some characters being here and it’s sad because you don’t want your kids in an environment like that,” said area resident Sherry Fortune. “You want them to be able to come out an play. That’s what parks are for. There be a lot of perverts and people out here doing drugs and it shouldn’t be like that.”

Jordan is charged with unlawful dealing with a child, acting in a manner injurious to a child and public lewdness.

The city says Jordan has been suspended without pay.
