It has been reported that Alex Trebek..host of the long running show Jeopardy suffered from a mild heart attack a few days ago. He was rushed to the hospital. And, he was actually in the hospital while his show won an Emmy last night. Read the details below.
“Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek suffered a mild heart attack Saturday and was rushed to Cedars-Sinai hospital in L.A. where he is still recovering.
A spokeswoman for Alex says the 71-year-old is expected to make a full recovery … she says he should be ready to resume his “Jeopardy!” hosting duties when they start filming the new season next month.
Trebek has been the host of the popular trivia game show for 28 years.
The show won a Daytime Emmy for best game show on Saturday while Trebek was in the hospital recovering.
