According to 9 to 5 mac Apple will be unveiling their 13 inch retina display Macbook pro on Oct 23. According to the blog site the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro starting price will be around $1,699. And for an extra $200 Apple will upgrade you with a higher-end model.
These estimated prices are $500 higher than currently-available 13-inch MacBook Pros, whose base models start at $1199 for a 2.5GHz model, and go up to $1499 for a processor upgrade to 2.9GHz. Both base models include a 500GB spinning hard drive and can be further upgraded with faster processors and flash drives.
With the new 13-inch MacBook Pros, 9-to-5 Mac guesses the Retina display will rock 2,560×1,600 pixels, and even though the smaller MacBook Pros will be available shortly after launch, they “expect some supply constraints like we saw with the 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro.”
