Joe Weider was a Legendary fitness icon who mentored Arnold Shwarzenegger during his body building days, but that’s not all, during this same time Joe built a fitness empire. Soon after, he was known as a god in the fitness world, he also created a publishing empire which included “Muscle & Fitness”, “Flex”, “Shape” and “Men’s Fitness” magazines. Joe Weider died saturday at his home in L.A. When Arnold got the news about Weiders death, this is what he had to say:
“Joe didn’t just inspire my earliest dreams; he made them come true the day he invited me to move to America to pursue my bodybuilding career. I will never forget his generosity.”
