Miguel DID practice the leaps 2x before the actual Billboard Music Awards performance and claims he was NEVER told not to do it. In fact, he even asked the producers if they could make sure they got it on tape. But could he be lying? BMA’s executive producer Don Mischer personally spoke to Miguel after rehearsals and told him NOT to do the jump. Miguels rep told TMZ, “The reports claiming that Miguel was warned by producers not to jump are completely false.” His rep also adds, “A number of attempts were made to reach Khyati and her lawyer after the performance to see how she was doing and whether any assistance could be offered.” Wonder who’s telling the truth!
