In Midtown Manhattan yesterday six people were injured by a runaway SUV that lost control in the bad weather that we had with all the rain. One of the injuries included a baby in a stroller. The baby was rushed to Weil Cornell hospital and is listed as in critical condition. The other five who were injured in the accident are listed from minor to serious injuries. It is still uncertain what caused the SUV to go off the road and onto the curb to hit those that were on the sidewalk. check out what witnesses are saying.

Witnesses said the crash took everyone by surprise. “Everyone just started running towards the car,” said Anel Jan, 33, who works at Midtown Cigar near the bookstore. “The (bystanders) were knocking on the door. It looked like they were trying to get the driver out.”
