According to rumors Apple might be coming out in the near future with a smartwatch. The company applied to trademark the word “iWatch” in Japan on June 3rd. Apple, earlier this year, had a patent application for a watch-like device that proposed a slap bracelet, kinetic energy charger, and an “end-detection” in addition to many other features. Nothing is set and stone as of Apple’s plans but I’m sure they didn’t trademark the name for nothing.
