As a lyricist, he’s awesome, but as a speech giver, Lupe Fiasco SUCKS! This Chi-Town native was the keynote speaker at a Chicago school’s commencement, and what he said to those students, was probably one of the worst things to hear! This dude just made me sick! Hit the jump for details.

The event titled the, “Mass Black Male Graduation and Transition to Manhood” should have been a joyous occasion, but Lupe was invited …“Congratulations, you have graduated from one of the most terrible, substandard school systems in the entire world. You have just spent the last…12 years receiving one of the worst educations on earth. You are at least four, five steps behind people in other countries that are younger than you,” was only a snippet of the botched up speech Lupe gave.
One of the hardest things to get through is four years of high school, especially living in a city like Chicago. Instead of uplifting a kid going into adult-hood, and letting them know that they’ve made it, this cat tore them down! Truth or NOT, how many others didn’t make it as far as a graduation?! Lupe – If I had a certificate for you, it would read – Biggest prick in society! Talk about “rich n***as makin’ POOR DECISIONS!”

All this coming from a gossip columnist? He COULD be the biggest prick or or he could of told those kids exactly what they needed to hear rather than make high school graduations into an accomplishment. There is more work to be done and as a college student I know we are a step behind coming out of this system. We learned what was on the act in high school my senior year do you understand the magnitude of that? We do not need anyone in our ear telling us bull shit we need honesty and for someone to shed light on the system that holds minorities down like the housing projects launched around the world that led to new slaves. Fuck you and funk master flex lame ass “are you mad at me or yourself” has to be the corniest shit to say really.
