Shaquille O'Neal, Adam Sandler

It’s no secret that Shaq isn’t a fan of Dwight Howard.  He often takes shots at the center whether it’s about his post moves or his demeanor, Shaq is one of Dwight’s biggest critics.  What makes it funny to me is that the two have so much in common.  Anyways, when Dwight made his decision to sign with the Houston Rockets over re-signing with the LA Lakers of course some comments from Shaq were sure to follow.  Read more after the jump.

O’Neal was a grand marshall for a NASCAR race at the Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, and when asked to comment on Howard’s decision, he didn’t let the opportunity to get another jab in slip away.

“It was expected,” O’Neal said. “We’ve all been in L.A. and not a lot of people can handle being under the bright lights. Everybody wants to do it, but when you get there, there are certain pressures. I think it was a safe move for him to go to a little town like Houston.”

He also said it was a “safe move for him to go to a little town like Houston”.  Ummm Shaq I know Houston isn’t as big a market as LA but it’s the third largest city in the United States, far from a “little town”.
