How the Lernstift works is with a non-optical motion sensor which works out what you are writing and in turn will buzz if it thinks what you are writing is misspelled. It also has a calligraphy mode which will help make your penmanship a little more legible. This magical pen will cost you about $150 which is a good price on never misspelling a word again.
