As the only minority on the jury, ‘Juror B29’ from the Trayvon Martin/ George Zimmerman trial finally broke her silence on her true feelings of the verdict. According to her, she claims NOW that ‘Zimmerman got away with murder.’ A little late to express these feelings now, eh? However, Trayvon’s devastated parents Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin responded back to the juror who had a part in letting their 17-year-old son’s killer free with no punishment.

According to Sybrina Fulton, hearing Juror B29 say that Zimmerman was indeed guilty and that he got away with murder in an exclusive interview with ABC was ‘devastating’ because the juror never did anything to change the outcome of the verdict. *Note, she was the only minority (Puerto Rican) on the jury.*
Sybrina Fulton gave a statement saying, “It is devastating for my family to hear the comments from juror B29, comments which we already knew in our hearts to be true: That George Zimmerman literally got away with murder. This new information challenges our nation once again to do everything we can to make sure that this never happens to another child.”
Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin have recently launched the Trayvon Martin Foundation. The parents of the slain teen said, “That’s why Tracy [Martin] and I have launched The Trayvon Martin Foundation to try and take something very painful and negative and turn it into something positive as a legacy to our son.”
