Lil Wayne is sitting down and spilling his life stories in a different type of interview then what we may be used to seeing him in. Wayne decided to sit with Katie Couric during the second season of her talk show “Katie”, where he discusses much more than music, his life and hardships! Hit the jump for previews of the interview!
Weezy sat down with Katie Couric back in 2009 during an intense interview for “All Access Grammy Special” where he seems to keep his guard up as the journalist Couric shoots question at him. Even responding to one of her questions by simply stating:
“I’m a rapper. That’s who I am Miss Katie, and I am a gangsta, and I do what I want.”
Couric managed to get the rapper to sit down with her again on the second season of her talk show “Katie” in attempt to reveal more of the rapper’s life. In the preview of the interview Wezzy seems like he will be discussing more with the journalist including : dropping out of high school, his recent hospitalization, his time in prison, his mother’s request for him to stop drinking syrup, and more.
