His rap rival Biggie got a biopic in 2008, and finally, Tupac Shakur will be getting his own as well. The film, simply titled Tupac, will be backed by Morgan Creek Productions and Emmett Furla Films, with his mother Afeni Shakur as executive producer.

The film is reportedly budgeted at $45 million, and is set to begin filming in Atlanta sometime in 2014. Oh, and they have the rights to Pac’s ENTIRE music catalog. This should be dope! I wonder if they’ll tap Anthony Mackie to portray him on the silver screen once again?
