Kobe Bryant left the country late Wednesday night to undergo an undisclosed medical procedure, according to the Los Angeles Lakers.
The purpose of the trip is unrelated to the torn left Achilles he suffered last April, according to the team.
Bryant is expected back with the team early next week.
