The Diplomats and Jay Z have had tension going back to Roc-A-Fella days, with the beef coming to a boiling point in 2006 with Cam’s “hot summer.” The pair traded a couple jabs back and forth on wax and that was that, but Jay seemingly breathed some life back into it recently on his feature on Drake’s “Pound Cake.”

“I’ve done made more millionaires than the lotto did,” Jay bragged on the Nothing Was The Same cut. “Dame made millions, Biggs made millions, Ye made millions, Just made millions, Lyor made millions, Cam made millions, Beans’ll tell you if he wasn’t in his feelings.”

While this may be true, Cam wanted to clarify things a bit, and addressed it on a track on his new mixtape, Ghetto Heaven Volume 1. “She said, ‘Jay made you a millionaire?’ Looked me in the eye. I said, ‘Cake, cake, cake…got that from the pies. We made each other millions,’ that was my reply. ‘Had a mil before I met him, baby, that ain’t no lie.’ See you named some Harlem cats, and the homie from the Chi. But my thing? He ain’t name nobody from the ‘Stuy.”

Sitting down with MTV this week, Killa discussed his reply, and was sure to note that in no way did he mean it as a diss, nor did he take Hov’s verse as a shot. However, he does mention that he believes the Roc Nation mogul still does hold a grudge, and breaks down what he knows about Hov’s 40/40 clubs below.
