Basketball fans remember the entertaining playoff series last year between the Golden State Warriors and Denver Nuggets. During that series, Warriors coach Mark Jackson claimed he had first hand knowledge of the Nuggets game plan to be physical against Steph Curry, even if it was done in a dirty way. People wondered was coach just talking out his ass, or did he really know something. Well it seems we can stop wondering and actually point to proof now. The proof comes in the form of Iguodala’s coach from last year with the Nuggets, George Karl. This is some pretty grimey stuff if true. Hit the jump.

“No question,” Karl said when asked whether Andre Iguodala was Mark Jackson’s “mole” during a revealing interview with Denver sports scribe and radio host Dave Krieger.

Jackson was upset during the playoff series last year with what he basically said the Nuggets were assaulting his young star Curry. Iguodala was on the Nuggets during that series and now plays with the Warriors. The owner of the team took it a step further by saying “Iguodala had made his interest in joining the franchise known during the postseason series”. Makes it pretty clear from both sides that Iguodala must of been feeling a certain type of way towards his own team to drop info to the opposing coach. If you are a teammate or coach of him moving forward, how do you trust him? I really like Iguodala as a player, but with this story you can’t help but lose respect for him, even if the info he gave wasn’t that critical. It’s the principle of the situation!
