Lillo Brancato arrived at his family’s home in Yonkers after being released from prison. When asked about the robbery and death of the officer, the actor expressed his remorse and said,”There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about that night and wish that I could change the outcome. Unfortunately, we can’t do that in life.” In his defense, Brancato explained that he didn’t have a gun nor did he shoot anyone the night of the robbery.

The former actor had battled a drug addiction before his arrest. Brancato is adamant that he used his incarceration as a time to reflect and no longer wants to be a trouble maker. In fact Lillo says he wants to get back into acting and hopes to connect with former co-stars, Robert Deniro and Chazz Palmintieri.

There’s nothing sadder in the world than wasted talent.
