Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is currently in jail being held without bail as he awaits trial for the murder of his former friend Odin Lloyd.  Hernandez has been in jail for eight months and a total of ZERO teammates have visited him in jail.

According to TMZ Sports none of Hernandez’s teammates have come by the Bristol County Jail to cheer him up.

Aaron gets a whopping 1-HOUR a week to see visitors … and he can divide that time amongst up to 5 people — one at a time — however he pleases.

But here’s the thing … all visitors need to be approved by Aaron in advance.  So if Tom Brady wanted to drop by, he’d have to get in touch with Hernandez first … which isn’t so easy ’cause he can only use the phone during visitation time.

I hate to say it but it’s true, when you go to jail that’s when you learn who your true friends are.  This is something I’ve seen pretty often.  People go to jail and they say everybody forgets about them; no visits, no commissary, no letters, nothing.  Although I’m sure Hernandez isn’t having those kind of problems considering his celebrity, it’s just his teammates that abandoned him.
