A mother allegedly killed her children in an exorcism in Maryland. 28-year-old Zakieya Latrice Avery and her friend, Monifa Denise Sanford, were charged with the murder of Avery’s two children. The pair are also facing attempted murder charges for injuring the children’s siblings. Montgomery police report that the woman were conducting an exorcism. To read more, click below.
The deceased children, 1 year old Norell Harris and 2 year old Zyana Harris, suffered multiple stab wounds. Police were called to Avery’s home, when a neighbor saw a knife laying outside of an open vehicle. Sanford and Avery face two counts of first degree murder and two counts of attempted first degree murder.
