Beno Udrih is not happy with his role and has let management know his feelings. In fact he has asked to be traded, however there won’t be any problems if that doesn’t happen.
“I’m a Knick,” Udrih told ESPNNewYork.com. “I’ve always been a professional and I’m going to stay a professional. … I want to be here. I believe the team has more than enough talent to succeed. We just have to get it together and do our jobs.”
The Knicks’ frontcourt has been wiped out due to injuries and head coach Mike Woodson will be using small lineups for a few weeks. This could give Udrih a chance to play and for the Knicks to showcase him to teams that might have interest in the backup guard.
