The Hat that took on it’s own identity is now up for auction on eBay. Pharrell is parting ways with the famous Grammy hat for a good cause, but if you want it, it will cost you a pretty penny.

Pharrell set social media on fire when he wore the Vivienne Westwood “Mountain” hat at the 2014 Grammy Awards earlier this February. So much so, his hat had it’s own Twitter account before the end of the night, and had Arby’s asking for their hat back.

The famous producer took to his Twitter to let fans know tweeting, “I’m auctioning off my hat from the Grammys to benefit From One Hand to AnOTHER,” and then joked,”Hey @Arbys, you want my hat? Now’s your chance…”

So, how much is Pharrell’s “Mountain” hat going for? The current bid is at a whopping, $10,500!

It currently has 64 bids, and according to the eBay post, “All proceeds benefit From One Hand to Another whose mission is to help change the world one kid at a time by giving them the tools and resources to meet their unique potential and empower them to nurture curiosity by learning through new technologies, arts, media and motivation!”

Amazing right?

According to their website, Pharrell established One Hand to Another in 2008 “for the sole purpose of supporting the Pharrell Williams Resource Centers’ (PWRC) learning programs developed for every one of the underserved youth between the ages of 7 and 20 in at risk communities throughout the country.”
