Eyebrows raised when Tyson Chandler declared Kevin Love can’t play defense during halftime of the Knicks 118-106 win over the Timberwolves. Love made even more headlines when he responded “F*** him. I don’t give a s***.” Clearly things got out of hand and many people didn’t realize it was just jokes and the two are friends so Chandler took to his Twitter account to clear things up.

The real story is Chandler and Love met as teammates of Team USA. They text each other regularly and even workout together sometimes during the offseason. They’re real life friends and were just poking fun at each other like friends do.
I guess we were thirsty for some rivalry action when you have someone like Paul George asking Lebron (the guy standing in the way of his championship) to mentor him. This is the state of the league now. The days of Michael Jordan and Charles Oakley wanting to kill each other are over. Kobe is pretty much the last of a dying breed.
