IFWT-Derrick-Rose

Derrick Rose sat out the entire 2012-13 season after suffering a torn ACL in the previous playoffs.  Fans and analysts however still held out hope that he would rejoin the team during the playoffs.  The Bulls managed to beat the Brooklyn Nets but then lost to the champion Miami Heat.  During each series it was discussed would he or won’t he touch the court but he didn’t, instead he sat on the sidelines in various suits watching his team fight for their playoff lives.  Now it can happen all over again.

It’s a case of deja vu for Bulls fans as Derrick Rose went down with another knee injury, this time suffering a torn meniscus and missing much of the 2013-14 season.  Once again the Bulls are playing quite well without their star and currently hold the 4th spot in the Eastern Conference; and once again they’re hoping Rose will return.

Mitch Lawrence dropped this tidbit in an NBA roundup in the New York Daily News:

It’s no joke — the Bulls really are expecting Derrick Rose to make it back from his latest knee injury in time for the playoffs. …

Here’s hoping Rose doesn’t make the same mistake twice.  Avoid the media circus and make a definitive decision to return or stay out.
